About the Event
Good Fly, the FFI Casting Board of Governors and the Texas Council of FFI are hosting a Gathering of Casting Instructors on Sunday, October 11, 2026. This is an opportunity for all instructors to spend a day sharpening their skills instructing and casting. Instructors spend a lot of time working with students and often neglect the fact that they need to learn new instructional and casting skills that will improve their ability to serve students. We have gathered a world class set of instructors to present on the Elbow Forward, West Coast Style of casting.
In addition, we are interested in cultivating a community in the casting instruction family and spending quality time together will help foster that.
